A private Cabo airport shuttle from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) costs from $65 USD to San Jose del Cabo, $75 to the Tourist Corridor, $85 to Cabo San Lucas, $95 to the Pacific Side, $160 to Todos Santos and $230 to La Paz. Those are one-way rates for the whole Chevrolet Suburban, up to 5 passengers, not a price per seat. Highway tolls are included. A 16% Mexican IVA tax applies only when you pay by card, and cash payments are not taxed. Driver gratuity is not included, and a 10 to 15% tip is customary. Two things set the cost of a Cabo airport shuttle: the zone of your hotel or address and the vehicle you choose. Passenger count does not change the fare. The Chevrolet Suburban carries up to 5 passengers, the Cadillac Escalade up to 5, the Toyota Hiace van up to 10 and the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter up to 15, and each one has a single fare per trip.
To Cabo San Lucas, the Suburban is $85, the Hiace $90, the Escalade $110 and the Sprinter $140, one-way. To San Jose del Cabo the same four vehicles are $65, $65, $85 and $107. A few hotels have their own rate, so the booking engine shows the final price for your exact address before you confirm.
Round-Trip Cabo Airport Shuttle Cost and the Online Discount
A round-trip Cabo airport shuttle is priced as two one-way fares. SJD to Cabo San Lucas and back in the Suburban is $170 USD, and SJD to San Jose del Cabo and back is $130. There is no round-trip discount, and booking the return with your arrival holds a vehicle for your departure date.
The only discount is the online booking discount on the Book Direct page of this site, when it is active. It applies to airport transfers, one-way or round-trip, and to the transfer rate only, not to extras. Local rides that do not involve the airport have no discount.
What the Cabo Airport Shuttle Cost Includes, and the Extras
Every fare includes the private vehicle, a licensed bilingual driver, highway tolls, flight tracking, meet and greet at Umbrellas 3 & 4 outside the SJD terminal, and bottled water on board. The first child car seat is included at no charge, and additional seats are $10 USD each. A delayed flight does not add a waiting charge, because every flight is tracked.
Optional extras are added at checkout: a one-hour shopping stop at any store or supermarket you choose for $50 USD, cold beer at $2 USD each, and a chilled bottle of sparkling wine for $25 USD. Driver gratuity is separate and goes directly to your driver.
Cost of Local Cabo Transportation Beyond the Airport Shuttle
Rides that do not involve the airport, such as golf, dinner, nightlife and wedding transportation, start at $140 USD round-trip per vehicle. The fare depends on your hotel, the destination and the vehicle, and the reservations team confirms it by WhatsApp, phone or email. A private driver by the hour is also available and is quoted the same way.
