Why private — not Aguila bus or unofficial taxi

The Aguila bus does run between La Paz and Cabo San Lucas with a stop at Todos Santos, but it does not originate at SJD Airport. To use it you need a separate taxi from SJD to the Cabo bus station, then a 90-minute bus ride, then another taxi at Todos Santos to your hotel — three separate transactions, three luggage handles, total time often 4 hours+.

Unofficial airport taxis quoting "Todos Santos" at the SJD curb are a bigger problem: no insurance for the long route, no backup if the vehicle fails on Highway 19, no real-time dispatch, and frequently a price renegotiation halfway through the drive.
