Aguila operates a public bus from Cabo San Lucas to La Paz, but it does not pick up at SJD Airport. To use it you would need an airport taxi to the Cabo bus terminal, a four-hour bus ride with a luggage transfer, and a second taxi at La Paz station — three vehicles, three luggage moves, six hours total, no door drop. None of it works with bulky scuba bags, baby strollers or a wedding-party luggage stack.

Airport curb taxis at SJD will quote La Paz, but most are not insured for the highway run, do not carry backup vehicles for breakdowns past Los Barriles, and frequently raise the price mid-trip.
