The entrance to Pedregal sits off Leona Vicario Avenue in downtown Cabo San Lucas. A single private tunnel — the only one of its kind in Baja — carves through the mountain to the inner residential and hotel area. Past the tunnel, a winding road climbs to the Waldorf cliff-side entrance. First-time drivers often hesitate at the gate, get waved in the wrong direction, or end up at a residential guard-house instead of the resort.
