The resort sits at the end of a private peninsula. There is only one road in, so traffic is never an issue past the gate, but the approach through downtown Cabo can be slow during Friday evening peak. Our drivers route through the southern bypass to skip the marina bottleneck.

Your Cabo airport shuttle from SJD to Grand Solmar begins with meet-and-greet at Umbrella #5 outside the SJD arrivals terminal. Your chauffeur handles luggage to the vehicle — Chevrolet Suburban for up to 6, Cadillac Escalade for upgrade, Mercedes Sprinter for larger family groups. The 35-minute ride follows Highway 1 past Palmilla and Cabo del Sol, enters the downtown Cabo San Lucas area, bypasses the marina, and drops you at the Grand Solmar main lobby.

If your flight lands between 2 PM and 6 PM, a 35-minute transfer puts you at the resort with time to check in, freshen up, and walk to the restaurant.
