Esperanza is accessed by a signed-but-modest turnoff from Highway 1 between Palmilla and Cabo del Sol. The access road winds down to the peninsula, past private residences, to the resort's arrival court. The turnoff is easy to miss driving from the airport — first-time taxi drivers regularly overshoot it and have to U-turn at the next corridor exit.

Our chauffeurs drive the corridor every day and know the exact Punta Ballena approach. Your vehicle takes the correct turnoff without hesitation, arrives at the Esperanza entry gate with guest information pre-verified, and pulls directly to the casitas bell-desk.

Real-time flight monitoring, meet-and-greet at Umbrellas 3 & 4, Suburban or Escalade, bottled water, climate control, bilingual chauffeur, and child car seats on request. The corridor ride is entirely on Highway 1 — typically 20-35 minutes, with no major bottlenecks outside peak season.

For the return airport ride, we recommend a 2.5-hour lead time (2 hours of driving + buffer) for domestic flights, 3 hours for international. The Esperanza gate exit is fast, and Highway 1 is the fastest route to SJD.
